I am totally dumbfounded - so after months of having ADSL problems, kicking down doors at my ISP for assistance and at Telkom to provide me the service I pay for, Telkom decided it is time to react...

Eeeek!!! My ADSL line is down, but I get a call on my landline (yes people, Telkom called me on my LANDLINE) asking me if my landline is working now? SERIASLY - if you call me on my landline and I answer... nvm, I forgot what I am dealing with here.

And then... ADSL is too complicated to be fixed, so here you go dear valued Telkom Client, we will (without your consent) give you our free voicemal service on your landline.

I am concerned, seriasly folks - is Telkom folk still under the influence from the festive season?

So... please remove your voicemail service from my landline, I do not need it and I do not want it!!!

Thank you for your co-operation, it is indeed much appreciated.

PS: Does anyone out there know if there is another service provider in the Rynfield Benoni area for both telecommunications and internet connection? - last I checked, there are none :(
