The unjust refusal

I went to upgrade my cellphone contract. I decided on the S4Mini. After 4 days of using the phone, I went to tell them that I am experiencing problems as the phone doesn't want to respond and just freezes. My old phone was at my parent's house so I couldn't immediately return the device. It was Friday and I told the manager that I was going to fetch it and couldn't risk driving 180km without a phone. The device was in perfect condition. As I went back on Monday it had a mark barely visible, as it fell the previous day. I let the manager know of the incident immediately. I went back to return the phone on the Monday. I waited 45min to see the manager. She didn't show and one of the other staff members took my contact details. They refused to help me and assured me that there is no way they are going to replace the device. I haven't heard from them since. Now I have a brand new phone that cost me R2999 once-off and R199 a month, that is faulty and no one wants to help me!!!
