Contract cancellation

Good Day. My name is Lillian Sekgametsi Motaung, my ID is 6607070345083. I'm sending my problem to as my last hope, I do not know who to turn to, fortunately my colleague told me about you. I took contract two years ago with virgin mobile, I used the phone for two months or so, dont remember clearly, but I lost my phone, but I made sure i pay my contract until its paid up, because its not their problem that I lost it. I didn't use the phone, I didn't use their airtime. According to their records my contrac ended last month (August), I was told by two of their consultants, and they told me I'm one month behind of which I admitted and already I made payment arrangement last week that I'll do my last payment on the 25/09/2013. One of their consultants asked me if I want to renew contract, I said she asked me why I told her I dont want contract anymore because you pay forever and she told me I must pay their airtime until December 2013 when I asked her why she says because I didnt send them cancellation on time, she says it takes a month for cancellation to be done. I feel that they are me because to start, no one called to make me aware my contract will be ending in a month.
