I am deeply disappointed in MTN. I recently moved to a new house (1 July 2013). At this new residence I have very poor reception, which is frustrating as I have two MTN contracts (phone and internet). This poor reception is rendering my phone and internet useless. I checked on the MTN coverage map and according to this map I should have 3G reception. Mid-July I called MTN to complain about the issue, I received a reference number 0055671, and was told that someone will call and arrange to come and test the reception at my house. About two weeks later I haven't heard a thing, so I called them again, provided my reference number, and was told that someone will get back to me shortly. A month after my initial call I was still ignored. So I called again, the person on the line was very friendly and said that he could see I should have been called, he allegedly marked my complaint as urgent and I was informed that I could expect a call soon. Today, which is almost TWO months later, I have still not had any response. Shame on you MTN. What is the point of having a phone and broadband internet if I cannot use it?!
