I have been with MTN for the last 3 years on a cellphone contract and i never missed any payment, my 1st contract with MTN i took SONY EXPERIA where i was paying R99 a month and i was supposed to finish paying by march 2013, I then decided to add another phone which was IPHONE 4 before my contract end, which i was paying R298 a month in total was paying around R397 round off R400, In june 2013 when i wanted to do upgrade on my SONY EXPERIA I realise that MTN has been deducting R500 on my account from february 2013, I then contact MTN to find out why am paying R500 now because i finish paying one of my phone in march and their supposed to be deducting R298, the advisor in the call centre told me that he don't know and he will speak to the manager to investigate then they will come back to me. At the meantime i went to the bank to block the account, MTN never come back to me with the feedback till now i thout the still investigating up untill now am recieving emails from them tell me i owe them R2500 that i need to pay within 14 days.
