PAYING FOR AN IPHONE THAT I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE

I renewed my contract with MTN. Upgrading my phone to an IPhone 4S. The IPhone 4S was faulty. I took it back to MTN for a warranty assessment which was accepted and I was told my new phone would be ready within a few days. When I did not receive a new phone for over a month, I went to MTN and asked them what was happening. They told me they had no stock and it will be a very long time till they get more stock. They said that if I paid R500 they would give me the iPhone 5 instead. I agreed, but when I accepted the offer they proceeded to tell me they had no Iphone 5's in stock either. I have now been paying for a contract for an Iphone for 4 months without an actual Iphone. I still go into the shop regularly to ask about when new stock will come in and they consistently say they will call me the following day but never do. I do not know what to do next, hence me writing this post.
