No feedback on the process of my request

I applied for a new ADSL line in Bryanton Johannesburg and was disappointed to hear that there are non available in the area. I asked my consultant to advise me on the period i would have to wait for them to install new lines and was promised a maximum of 2 weeks period. She also promised to ask a senior manager on the progress of the installation process. I sent a few email and have not been given an answer. Im sitting with no internet in the middle of a metropolitan city in South Africa in 21st Century. This is unacceptable.
