Billed for something I don't have

I have ordered a 2Gig data sim on the 4th of September and I explicidly asked for a nano sim card as I want to use it in my iPad mini. The sim card was delivered on the 6th-which was quite impressive to me, but to my dissappointment a normal sim. So I called vodacom immediately. The said they would send me a new sim. So on Friday the 13th I called to enquire where my Sim is and they said they tried to deliver on the 12th but couldn't get hold of me. Now my delivery adress is a work adress and I received no calls or visits. And why did I have to call on the 13th to find out what is going on?? So they have to resubmit the request and now I am still waiting for my nano sim. Cherry on top is that I have already been billed for the first month on the 11th!!! This is totally ridiculous!! And the attitude I got from the mail I have sent to Customer Care, was sorry to hear about the circumstances under which your email has reached us... according to our records the contract is active. How on earth to you call that customer service???
