MWEB Throttling! On Uncapped ADSL

I took out an ADSL contract with mweb - I opted for the uncapped option. It is less than a year and I am battling with extremely slow internet connectivity. I eventually called tech support and they informed me that my account was throttled (intentional slowing down of internet connectivity by and ISP to limit usage). The advised that for the throttle to be removed, I have to significantly reduce my internet usage for 2 days. I went one more and reduced it for 3 days by disconnecting the laptop and switching to vodacom 3G - only leaving the ipad. I called in again after the 3 days and I was informed that over the 3 days, my usage of 300MB was "significantly" high and that the throttle will be maintained for another 3 - 4 days! The other option I was given is to go for an upgrade to avoid being throttled [again]. Now, I will not even mention the sub-normality of throttling in this day and age, but for uncapped ADSL, 300 MB to be considered high usage is laughable. I know Mweb won't mind, but they have lost me as a customer. And I know many planning to walk.
