I took out a contract with Mtn in 2004, however my ex husband was using the account at the time well pretty much up too date, anyways the account was paid monthly.. We got divorced a transfer of ownership was done on the account in April 2012 I have proof of this at the time of transfer of ownership the person who did it said there is a balance due this was paid and i was assured the transfer of ownership was done as I have the documentation too proof this, I recently started been harrassed by debt collectors MBD and I told them I am not the owner of this account even after attempting too speaking too Mtn i was told I am not the owner of this account I cannot call, anyways Now i Discover I have a default under my name for an account that is not even mine and arrears of over 5000 too pay.
I attempted applying for a credit card but couldnt understand why i could not qualifity so now Mtn listed me as a default payer for something I am not even responsiable for, can someone please resolve this issue or contact me because I am not leaving it like THIS.
