I turned 70 in January and in Feb I told telkom and they said I was now entitled to a reduced subscription rate. They changed my account number - without telling me and I paid into the incorrect account but that has since been cleared up. However, I never received a reduced subscription and am still paying the same rate. I phoned and spoke to a woman who said she would get someone to call me and correct the matter. Still nothing heard from telkom. They are so good in other regards - ie when I had a complaint about no service - they attended immediately. It seems telkom do not really mean what they say though about reduced subs for 70 year old customers.
