At the start of October 2013 I contacted Telkom (twice) to cancel my ADSL line from 30 November 2013. I was given a reference number.
Two weeks later I was contacted by a Telkom representative, offering me a cheaper rate on my package. My reason for cancelling the line is relocation to a new residence and subsequently I turned down the offer.
Until last week, I had decided over time that I would contact Telkom and ask for a transfer of my subscription to my new residence.
However, upon receiving a proposed invoice from Telkom, which bills me until 8 December 2013 (past my cancellation date), I must reconsider. Telkom - is this the level of service that I can expect?
We have two options - either sort this matter of billing out swiftly and retain my business when I move, or I will migrate to Neotel/3G.
