Vodacom
On-going disconnection from Vodacom Network

As per my complaint of 31 January 2013: I got an upgrade with 4G (LTE) coverage. As soon as I move out of a 4G area, instead of reverting to 3G, my phone is disconencted from the Vodacom network. There is no warning and more importantly I lose/miss calls as my phone is effectively OFF without my being aware thereof. This happens everyday.

In January/February I was contacted by Vodacom and it appeared to be resolved for a few weeks however, that was shortlived.

I would like compensation for this or reduction in fees as I have lost calls and possibly business due to this. Iam therefore not in a position to utilise my phone in accordance with the service I pay for. Before Vodacom advertises 4G, they should be sure that it works and does not disconnect you from the service. I appreciate that 4G is not available everywhere, but one shouldn't be disconnected when you leave a 4G area.

I do not want customer care to contact me, I insist on management getting involved. As this probelm was brought to Vodacom's attention within 3 weeks of my getting the phone, my rights ito the CPA apply and I should therefore be able to cancel said contract.

Vodacom what would you like me to do?
