Hi,

As of 17 January 2013 there has been little to no signal for any Vodacom user in the Midrand area, specifically at the Eskom Academy of Learning. I raised a service ticket on 17 January (Ticket number S3-SEDA1-1N6I) and have had little joy in a month. Vodacom remained silent for 2 weeks then I get a lady calling to ask if the ticket can be closed, after saying nothing has changed I don't hear a thing from them again. Had a technician come over last week, but he ran away after seeing the status of the network. The Fact of the matter is that there is NO cell phone signal, so no incoming or outgoing call, there is NO SMS signal, incoming or outgoing.
This has been going on for a month now, all other network operators can get it right, Vodacom cannot.
There are about 20 people on various brand phone with Vodacom in my office that have complained about the same problem to Vodacom. The result is the same, Vodacom just does not care
