I am trying to port to Vodacom because I am looking for better network and call quality. Unfortunately the call centre staff and IVR system is so terrible I am having second thoughts. Hopefully Hellopeter can sort it out for me. I phoned in to the MNP call centre number 082 1299326 as it is on the web site. Pressed 4 for Afrikaans and came through after a 4 minute wait to Sheldon from customer care. I explained my situation to him and he then promised to put me directly through to MNP. After another 4 mins I was back at customer care, different lady. Explained again and a short 10 minute wait later I dropped the call. Why can't South African service providers just get it right? Especially massive ones like vodacom - I suggest go save around R50 million per year on your sponsorships and get the basics right first...
