Telkom - 6 month later still no landline/ADSL!

Hi,

We applied for a landline and ADSL on the 19th March 2013. We specific asked the sales lady if there where any known delays in our area. The answer was no... 6 months later and we are still waiting!

I have been to the Telkom shops Umhlanga and Gateway asking for updates with no response. Latest the manager from Umhlanga took my email address and promised to email an update, needless to say this update never arrived in my inbox!!!

How can Telkom run a business when this is the way they are treating customers? Oh wait, we don't really have another supplier to go to when it comes to landlines/ADSL so Telkom is getting away with this...

The only thing we have managed to get out of the manager from the Umhlanga branch is they we (our order) are not within the 2013 budget?! Please explain how long it takes to extend/add a line to an exchange?
