SUDDENLY NO ADSL COVERAGE

I had ADSL since 2009 and recently cancelled the line which was through a service provider. I requested this service to be moved to Telkom, of which an order was generated by Telkom on 27/01/2014. The consultant advised that my adsl will be active within 7 working days (04/02/2014).

I called Telkom today (04/02/2014) and the consultant informs me that a message popped up on my order that there is no ADSL coverage in my area.

When asked to speak to her supervisor, she hanged up.

How can i miraculously have had ADSL for the past 4 years and now, since i am moving to TELKOM (More revenue for TELKOM), am being told that there is noADSL coverage in my area.

Furthermore, the Telkom ADSL checker on Telkoms website indicates that my the area where my landline is installed, reached 10mbps.

I should have just stayed with my service provider who had magical powers to grant me ADSL!
