Since the 20 Dec 2012 our business had not had internet or a land line. I have sent a complaint to hellopeter and because of this my phone line was eventually turned on on the 21 January which was 3 days after i informed hellopeter. But then when i went into the Cape Gate Telkom branch to do a name change, from personal to business name ONLY, and ask to have my internet speeded up, they cancelled my internet line and gave it to someone else. After this i went back to the store and was treated arrogantly. This was their fault. I got no satisfaction from the store manager so i got hold of an awesome lady named Carmen Chambers at the Durbanville Telkom office. 021 9792387. She also tried to deal with the manager of the Cape Gate branch and then called me back saying she could also not reach him, Riaan van der Westerhuizen. He had promised me many times to call me back for a progress report which he never did. But Carmen Chambers WENT THE EXTRA MILE for me and managed to get my internet turned back on today. If Telkom had more people like her working for them, they would be a great company, but unfortunalty there's only her. THANK YOU TO CARMEN CHAMBER. One in a million she is indeed.
