The new Samsung Galaxy S4 Active (LTE) has been released in SA. It is available at other service providers but MTN has no plan of offering it with their contracts. I questioned MTN as to why this is the case. The phone is world-class, has tons of features and I know many other who will definitely want to upgrade to this phone (the fast, water-resistance, more solid S4 model). I mentioned that my upgrade is due soon and if this phone is not being offered by MTN, I would consider moving across to another service provider. This after 12 years of being a loyal MTN customer. It has been a few days now and there has been no response from MTN nor has there been any acknowledgment that the message was received.
I do not expect MTN to change any policy regarding the phone requisition. All I expect is that they can at least explain to customers why certain actions/decisions are taken and also to communicate properly to customers. Not bringing in one the world's most famous new phones into their offerings is a big thing and should be communicated.
