RED CONTRACT? RED FLAG!

My father took out the "red contract" last week. So excited about all that was promised to him.

Today he finds out he's been billed extra because they cancelled his Talk 1000 early to migrate (NOT TOLD ABOUT THIS), then further additional costs (NOT TOLD ABOUT THIS), so I called this morning.

I was promised by Tiamo that the ONLY thing he would pay the end of this month is the R1999 UNLESS he makes international calls and enters competitions. I asked him if he was sure.

I called my dad now. He tells me he was told today he must now pay an EXTRA R10 per month for caller ID?? Really??? So it's not enough that he was surprised by this month's bill, but he now has to pay extra every month to see a number?

My dad has Deep Vein Thrombosis. He was recently hospitalized. We are lucky to have him with us and alive. YOU, as Vodacom, have put his health in jeopardy! He is a pensioner! He has this to speak to his children and grandchildren! He is NOT employed!

He went to the store in Polokwane with my brother this morning, furious. And of course, he can't get out of the contract.

I. WANT. ANSWERS. No more.

You hurt him any further, I'll make a big deal of this.
