BREACH OF SERVICE ON EMERGENCY LINE

My dad, a heart patient and a pensioner contacted the 112 line, on his prepaid phone 071 002 4908 to enlist emergency services for my epileptic brother, who required urgent medical help.

The operator on the line was very rude to him and informed him that he should not contact that number as she would trace him and have him locked up.

This leads me to query if this is how MTN treats emergency life threatening situations. MTN offered the free service so why don't they heed to it.

I am currently an MTN subscriber, have been one for 15yrs, with 4 contracts and a business contract, but I am starting to wonder if perhaps I should reconsider my subscriptions considering the attitude of MTN staff when you need them the most, and the poor service quality.

If MTN does not wish to honour the Emergency services service then they should strike it of their service offering and stop people from wasting their time in emergency situations.
