I recently canceled my previous contract at another provider to go over to Cell C and was referred to the Cavendish branch as I was assured they had stock of the phone I was looking for.
After filling out all the necessary paperwork on thursday I was told to come back the following tuesday, when my new contract would officially start to pick up the phone.
Once again they assured me they had plenty of stock of the device I had now signed on to receive, any reasonable person would assume that they would set one aside for me knowing I was coming back in less than a week.
I arrived on tuesday only to be informed that they had no stock of the phone and would only receive more on thursday at best as that model had been discontinued!
It's now a week, being self-employed my entire business depends heavily on my phone and it's impossible to say how many opportunities I've lost due to this.
Furthermore, it is impossible to reach the store in question for any update, they don't pick up.
