CANNOT CANCEL DECEASED FATHER'S ACCOUNT

THE GUY AT TELKOM CAPE GATE TOLD ME I CANNOT CANCEL MY FATHER'S ACCOUNT, WHO PAST AWAY IN APRIL. THE ONLY WAY TO CANCEL IS TO TAKE OVER THE ACCOUNT AND ONLY THEN CANCEL.

I have trusted him as I thought he knows what he was talking about. so he moved the account to my name, and then was suppose to be cancel. I have now received a OUTSTANDING account of X amount that I need to pay for my Father who is no longer with us???

AP the manager at this store, he said the guy who helped me, was NEVER suppose to do it like that, and he will rectify the problem. But I am STILL waiting and it is now almost 4months later.

this I think is not handle the right way as to WHY DO I NEED TO PAY MY Deceased Father's account?
