I have been trying to cancel my contract with Vodacom and use prepaid since the 27th of June. Every time I call they tell me the matter will be sorted out within 48 hours and that has turned into two months. When I called on the 6th August 2013 and spoke to Nyalleng (Ref #: S3-TYI3U-U7STS) who advised that the people who had attended to my call before had assigned it to a Vodacare shop which came as a surprise to me as I hadn't been to the store wrt this matter. She also promised that the matter will be sorted within 48 hrs. Instead of my contract to being cancelled I received a sms stating I have been migrated to Top Up 500, the same package I am trying to cancel. From such a big and reputable company I expected better service than such inconvenience.
