NEW CONTRACT INSTEAD OF UPGRADE

I upgraded on the internet last month. I received a new phone after 4 days. The phone had a new number and I have stipulated that I wanted my old number to remain the same. After a query to Vodacom I was informed that a new contract was issued and not an upgrade and that it was a transaction. They said that the matter had to be investigated and that they will report after 3 weeks on 21 October 2013. I phoned on 21 October 2013 and was told that another investigation is on its way as the people working on the problem did not know what they were doing. He subsequently informed me that he will get the problem solved and will send me a reference number the same day or on the latest the next day being 22 October 2013 . That did not happen I was also informed that with all the enquiries that the calls was recorded. On 23 October I phoned three times and twice the calls was dropped and eventually Vallery made an enquiry and found the department closed that may have helped. She told me there is nothing that she can do for me. I have supported Vodacom for many years and this type of treatment is beyond un-acceptable.
