Refuse to disclose unbilled calls or softlock line

Roundabout 13/08/15 we discovered that all of the sudden we ran out of airtime when we normally have a few months in reserve because one can accumulate up to 5 months worth. Eventually Mercia took my call and although she could see the long duration calls, she read the numbers so fast I could not take them down to investigate where my airtime went. She was just rude and irritated with me. My request for a Softlock was denied by MtnSp as well as a request for an interim itemised call printout which will only be available by the end of the billing cycle which was the 13/08/27.

Strangely enough non MTNSP clients from Altech can check their unbilled itemised calls on the internet AND setup a Softlock facility on a line to prevent a cellphone account running away. These two basic functions are a necessity in this day and age to prevent overspending. All that MTN is willing to provide a SME client with more than seven lines is a limit on the total account, NOT on individual lines meaning that one employee can bring the business on it knees and then everybody suffers.

Best plan is to sit out 24 months contract, give notice in advance and switch to supplier that offer these functions.
