&replacing phone with OLD phone! UNBELIEVABLE!

04/06/13-Purchased LG optimus L9
13/08/13-Screen "com.android.phone has stopped working". Take for repairs, told 5-7 wrking dys.
23/08/13-Call to check. Told 2 more days.
30/08/13-After hearing nothing from vodacom i go to Tygervalley to ask if phone ready:
Assisted by a gentleman, Rick Steenkamp if i recall correctly. Fetches phone from back and says "o, theyve given you a new phone, i see theyve written here, product exchange" However, the phone is not in a sealed box, just a phone wrapped in bubble wrap. When i inspect the phone i see it has scratches, a damaged battery cover, is OLD. He speaks to the manager and comes back telling me yes, they must return this phone to Johannesburg because it is not new. WHAT?
I ask to speak to the manager, but instead am given another sales consultant to speak to who also as no answers as to why im being given an old phone and being to and told that is NEW. Then she tells me im anywyas going to get a REFURBISHED phone, a second hand phone. WHAT? i buy a new pone and then vodacom wants to replace it with an old one. I HAVE NEVER!
PROBLEMS:
