I took out a 2 year contract from MTN and purchased a Samsung Galaxy S III, after I decided to leave Vodacom after /- 12yrs. When I received the phone, I had problems to charge the phone. The phone was exchanged and I received a new one. The new phone also gave problems to charge after a month or two. I exchanged the battery and since then I am battling. The phone charges, but takes 24 hours to charge 60%. Once again I booked the phone in for repairs. It came back from SP Technical Services, but still didn't charge. It was booked in for the 2nd time and the response was, no fault found. It went in a 3rd time, but this time I attached a personal letter to explain that the phone takes forever to fully charge. The response from technical services, no fault. It took me last night 7 1/2 hours to fill the battery from 14% to 45%. Seems that no person can read or understand or sort out the problem. Keep away from Galaxy S III and MTN Technical Services. They do not want to assist or don't know their product in any way!!!
