MTN's Shocking Service

For nearly 12 months, MTN has been having major issues with their coverage in South Africa. Either the signal was lost completely in an entire area or the signal appeared to be fully operational on devices but data would not transfer at all. We tried phoning the call centers but they were of no help. Each time it was a different story such as "they are currently working on the problem", "we're installing new software", "the system shows nothing is wrong" etc. I was once having a problem with my phone's connectivity and phoned MTN for help. The only "help" I got was to switch my phone off and on and then try taking the battery out and after that was told to take my phone in for repairs (but instead Google offered the help I needed). In my area (Walkerville), I can only use wireless internet and MTN is the only one that works better than Telkom. I am a university student and I rely on the internet for my assignments. Lately MTN's signal does not transfer data when I need to do research. Last year I nearly could not submit 4 assignments due to this problem. The call centers are useless, they will not release head office numbers and problems never get resolved (15 complaints from me).
