I did not pay my July installment of R357.00 . August 14th and August 24th Cell C tried to deduct money from my bank account. On the 20th of August a lady phoned me to inquire about my salary date. I told her my salary will be paid into my bank account on the 28th of August. She asked me if I am going to pay both the arrears amount as well as the new installment due for R357.00? I said yes. I paid the amount of R664.00 into the Cell C bank account at Nedbank on the 28th of August as agreed with Cell C. I faxed the proof of payment to 084 143 29. I waited for 30 min utes and then called customer care on 140. I spoke to Morris. I asked him to check their records if my payment is showing? He did check and reported back to me that the payment is indeed showing. I requested him to activate both my lines, he replied that an amount of R70 is still outstanding this is their bank charges for the unsuccessful debit on my account. I then asked him who will pay my bank charges for the unsuccessful debits on the 14th and 24th of August, that amounts to R115.00 as I never gave those dates as my pay date. He couldn't answer me. I want them to open my lines as my account is up to date.
