My iPhone 4s was working fine until I downloaded IOS 7. Then the wireless stopped working - the on/off button is just greyed out. My battery life is now < a day too. I took it to the iStore in Gateway to see how they could help. They pretty much shrugged their shoulders and told me it may be a problem with the wireless. Of course a few weeks before this my warranty expired. But it worked before I downloaded IOS 7 I said?! It probably wasn't working properly before then either was their response. They recommended that I take it to Vodacom, my service provider, 'because they don't actually sell phones'??? When I went to Vodacom, they told me that they'd try to repair it but because my warranty had expired they'd charge me for it... oh, and they don't repair iPhones. I knew where this was going. Speak to Apple they said. I went back to apple and they said they hadn't heard this problem before... I checked on the net and it's a real and common problem... There hasn't been a response from Apple on the net or anywhere. Bottom line: Vodacom 'will see what they can do' but I may have to purchase a new phone..that's probably 9K because I downloaded IOS7. That's the last Apple I buy!
