I frequently get agitated by pushy sales person hounding me because I have three cell phones accounts in my name where Vodacom is of the the opinion that the contract has expired. The handsets are all older than 24 months and according to the sales person the contracts have now all expired. If this is the case then why are the phones still working perfectly on the Vodacom network. If I opt not to renew the handset why must I be hounded to upgrade each and every month and sometimes more frequently. I will choose when I want a new handset. I have requested that my records be amended to reflect that I should not be contacted regarding upgrades and that I will contact Vodacom when good and ready. The joke of it is that when requesting to speak to a manager one can hear the the background discussion which invariably ends up with the standard replay " The Manger is in a meeting". Waiting for a manager to phone me back is a long wait and never happens. Vodacom, please get your act together and leave me alone!
