Billed without a subscription

I recently found out that I have been subscribed to the Mira Network without a subscription charging me R6.15 per day for something that I have never used and without having a careful look at my service providers statement would have continued paying until knows when.

How is it possible that something like this can still be happening with the consumer protection act being in place - I can remember years ago being subscribed to a dating service and struggling to un-subscribe for 3 months.

my biggest concern is that they would like to represent themselves a legitimate business by from South Africans like you and me
