We took out 2 Limit Billing contracts with Mtn for our girls. It went well.2 years later, I took the same contract out for our son (limit billing of R120) It went well the first few months, but I started getting bills of? R500 and upon enquiry was told that altho I placed a limit on the bill (an Mtn initiative) I am still responsible to see that the acc is blocked at R120.This was never mentioned till the problem started. I begged and fought a few months and was eventually told that it's sorted & so it was, FOR 2 MONTHS.In Nov 08 I wasn't billed and 15/12/ 08 I was billed with R2700 (not exact amount). I went to the main branch in Bfn, spoke to Marc and was told the Regional Man did not care to speak to me & that it's not Mtn's fault. My son age 17 then, said the acc was blocked but was opened again & he thought I gave permission. Mtn does not have proof of such a call. I had 3 contracts with Mtn and I tried to pay the other 2 in cash, I was told that Mtn don't want money for the 2 accounts, I must pay all 3 accounts. I left. I tried to see the Man a few times but she refused. Marc promised to sort it out but I'm sent sms' & calls that I now owe? R35000.What can I do to make them stop.
