S3 Screen Problems

Hello Peter.
My wife just bought a S3 on contract from Mtn.
When we woke upon Sunday morning the screen was cracked.
The phone was lying on the cabnet in the lounge when we went to bed.
The phone must have fallen off during the night from vibrating from a call.
The phone is not even a month old and MTN does not want to repair the phone.
The lcd is not broken only the plastic infrontof the screen.
I phoned MTN and told them but they said that are not going to fix the phone.
Peter please assist me with this complaint.
If they are not going to assist me then my wife doesn't want the contract anymore.
We can not replace the front cover we need to replace the whole Lcd and dont have the fund to cover this.
