On the 20th of August 2013 there was an sms received on my number 0741794113, reading that if i top up airtime before the 25th of August, i will be credited with double the airtime due. on the same day, i have loaded 35Rand worth of airtime, and my number was credited with 70 Rand instead, which was confirmed through an automated SMS received at the same time.
right now, on the 25th of August, my balance is 34.36 Rand, after making only two calls since having loaded the 70R worth of airtime. the two calls were local calls, one with a duration of 18 seconds, and the second with a duration of 36 seconds.
it seems like the extra 35Rand given was thus removed as soon as it was loaded.
nothing unexpected from just another daylight robber company.
