I took out a contract last year with MTN andIp was encouraged to take out insurance incase the cellphone got lost or dammaged or even.
I asked only one question. "in the event that my mobile phone is damaged, will i be furbished with a loan phone? " the answer was an emphatic "YES".
I duly obliged and signed up for the insurance company called "24hour mobility". Subsequently my phone got damaged, i went back to mtn and a got a form, and i was again told to ask the insurance company for a loan phone. To my shock and dismay, i upon contacting the insurance company, they made it clear that they do not provide loan phones.
Now i am stuck with a damaged phone, i am unable to send it in for repairs, because i cannot go, 3weeks without a phone.
Clearly therei has been a communication failure between the inisurance company and MTN staff, now I, as the paying customer, am paying the price and it is UNFAIR.
Should my situation not be solved, i will cancel the contract, simple
