Wont fix my phone while under warranty!

I recently sent my phone into customer care due to my track pad not working and software being faulty so i have not recieved notification that it is ready for collection and was told wont take long, so i went to just check hoping it would be ready by chance to be told it is ready for collection but has not been fixed due to water damage!!! my phone has never been damaged by water i am so paranoid about water damaged due to a friend of mine who used to bath with it in the same room and it got damaged! this makes me so mad because i have not done anything to create this. i asking the lady ""how can it be water damaged" if it has not come in contact with water she tells me it could be water vapour or even from are weather (so is vodocom telling me we must keep are phones in like a sealed bubble due to it being damaged by water vaour or are hot humid climate we live in due to what the lady told me) this is rediculous i am a student and pay alot monthly for a nice phone and this happend it angers me so much its like being acused of something i have not done and i feel helpless because how can i argue with them! i cant proove i have done nothing. job number 9096868
