It started when I was looking to install DSL in my home and become a Telkom account hlder, the website stated I need to call: 10210, I called the call centre and started by speaking to Agent 1, asking to please confirm if there is DSL available in my area, I also explained I bought the property a year ago, then there was already connection boxes and a DSL filter there from when the previous owners moved out. I was requested many time to please hold, while she checks, this is fine. So after about the third or fourth time, I'm suddenly transferred to a different agent, who firstly is not there to answer the phone when the call arrives, so I sit in silence waiting. Finally the call is answered, I ask the next agent the same question, asked to please hold while she checks, then to my surprise, I'm in the queue where I need to select where I want to be redirected to. No warning or anything, so I select the technical support option. The call is picked up, by Agent 3. I am still explaining my situation then there is nothing, I hear the people in the background but no one on the line. How hard is it to find out if I can get DSL in my home!
