Billing Gone wrong

Ive had a contract with MTN long ago and one month I didn't pay cause my billing was wrong so I said I wanna cancel my contract which they did, but charged me for breach of contract so I had to pay all the outstanding months that was left of the contract over to them which I didn't had the money
Not long after that they handed me over to a company called MBD INCORPORATED and ive been paying this account for some time now
But the problem is my balance is getting more and more and not less.
So I decided I fone them and ask to re-open the account which they don't want to do
So im stuck now with a bill of over R38000 whick I think is unneccasry
Please can you help me
