It has now been almost 5 months and still no resolution from MTN. I have tried every possible avenue of resolving my dispute with utter failure, Hello Pieter; MTN Legal Department, Store Managers and MTN's ombudsman. The situation is very simple, MTN had an illegal debit order on my account and paid them R1964.61 for a contract not in my name. A legal process was then initiated by MTN to collect on my actual contract, which I also paid up until June, a total of R1554.81. Now MTN demand I pay R5543.14 which I speculate include the modem cost and interest (no one can give me the correct info). I do not receive statements, have no debit order on my account to pay for my contract and have no access to my MTN service. I am not going to pay any interest, repair costs or legal fees! I have been trying to resolve the situation but nothing.
