Cell C poor signal and service

I have had a Cell C contract for around 6 months.
When at home in Glenwood Durban and at work in La Lucia Durban. I have very poor signal.
Often the "no service" is displayed. These are hardly areas which should experience signal issues.

I have called and complained, technicians have come round to my house and measured the signal.
I have been informed that they will install a booster. I still have poor signal. Often unable to make/receive calls or messages. Its highly frustrating, considering these are the main tasks a phone should be able to perform.

I pay R500 a month for this "service". Pathetic.
I call the head office every other month to follow up, as I am never called back as promised.
Each time Im told someone will call be back and advise on whats being done and when it will be rectified.
If I have signal 50% of the time Im lucky, perhaps I should only pay 50% of subscription?
