On the 26th of July I upgraded my cellphone. Upon ugrading, I also cancelled a SMS200 bundle @R50pm. The lady helping met at the store in Hermanus assured me that the bundle had been cancelled and taken off my account. This morning I received a message showing that the bundle WAS NOT CANCELLED. I phoned the 808 helpline only to be told that it never had been cancelled, that there was no record thereof. I was told that because the request in store had not been recorded, I have no proof!!! She went so far as to advisdm me to go back to the store, which is more than an hour's drive away, find the person who originally helped me and get them to admit their mistake. I find this utterly ridiculous. Does Mtn not take any responsibility for what their employees in store do because it's not recorded? Or do they do this on purpose to make money?
