Complete billing shambles

On the first of July this year, i got an SMS from Vodacom saying my debit order hadnt gone through, on phoning in i was fed a story about them not being able to debit credit cards anymore, i asked to be put through to the accounts department where i was told that the card expiring was the problem, which was news to me, in the 10 years i've been with vodacom, this is the first time i've had this issue, regardless, i gave the consultant the updated details, and was told the debit order would rerun on the 9th July. On the 15th July i discovered my line had been suspended, i phoned in and was told the debit order had again not gone through, i queried why i was not informed, and was told thats the banks job, i must phone them, which i duely did, to find out that the only attempted debit was the one from the 1st July. I phoned in again, told the consultant this, and arranged payment to be done by the 23rd July. Which was done via EFT, 2 days after payment was made, my account was debited for the same payment. Now after numerous calls and follow ups, vodacom is refusing to refund the money to my credit card, stating they dont have the facilities. Somehow their stuff up is now my problem.
