I am currently a customer of Vodacom on a pre-paid service. On Saturday I went to MTN to get a simswop and to apply to get a phone on contract. They told me that it took 24 hours to be accepted, only after 48 hours (Monday) they phoned me to notify that it has been accepted, BUT they did not have any stock and told me that the phone would be there on Tuesday. Tuesday I went back and then they told me that my phone had arrived but that the person who helped me apply was not there and that only he can help me and that he hides his applications, which I think is pathetic, why can't anyone else help me?? (obviously because they work on commission). So today (Wednesday) I went back again. The guy told me that the phone had arrived, but as he was already busy with another client I had to wait (once again I got irritated because no one else could help me and everyone else was doing nothing!) after waiting for 45 minutes, he helped me and then told me that all the phones that they received the previous day were already allocated to clients, and therefore I have to wait who knows how long. I am furious... the service is pathetic and they should always have available stock!!!
