I've been trying since June to get my number changed... First the migration of my contract took more than a month because the letter requesting the migration was misplaced. I therefore had to wait another month as this could only take effect on the beginning of a month. After finally migrating my contract I was promised the new number by the 1st of August. It is now the 5th and numerous phones calls, customer service requests online and empty promises later... I STILL have not even had a reply or feedback from them... their excuse always documents misplaced, network offline, wrong department etc. etc. etc. I am fed up with Vodacom and their lack of competence of solving something as simple as this! Their call center people are not friendly at all and very impatient. MTN sure looks like the better option!
