Debit order & cancellation issue

I previously had an Internet 2 contract that expired in Dec 2012. I went to the 8ta branch in Canal Walk in February this year to log a cancellation of this contract. They advised me it was taken care of and that my number was now on a pre-paid system. However, since then I'm still being charged R210 via debit order.
I called numerous times to rectify the issue and get the usual response: Cancellation takes up to 30 days to process. BUT i cancelled the account 5 MONTHS AGO!!!
I spoke to numerous call agents and they all promise that the issue will be escalated and they will get back to me but I always end up calling them back.
My last communication was with Reagon earlier today who told me that a manager would call me back but again, no word from 8ta.
Absolutely disgusting service!!!
