On Monday the 22nd of July i received a message saying that my account will be suspended if i dont pay R900 immediately. I sent them email as below:
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING EMAILS I HAVE RECEIVED FROM YOU -
1) Email received from MTN 12/6. Statement shows a closing balace on the 7/6 of R959.04 payable on 28/6. I have paid R1000 on the 2/7. R40.96 CREDIT FOR ME
2) Email received 9/7 - statement Shows an opening balance on the 7/6 of R1948.58... where did you get that amount from... it is supposed to be R959.04... your closing balance and opening balance does not BALANCE.
The CORRECT amount ONLY due by the 10/8 as per your last statement i have received 9/7 is indeed R928.93 (R969.89 current balance - credit of R40.96) I have today pd R1000, therefore i will have another credit of R71.07 on my account due in Sept.
I received an email back from MTN assuring me someone will phone in 3 days with a ref #6834874... On Monday the 29th of July my phone was disconnected. At the call centre a gentlemen connected my phone again assuring me someone will contact me... I AM STILL WAITING FOR THAT PROMISED CALL
