Refund of over payment/Bad Statement

I periodically paid extra money into my Wesbank account. Due to the fact that I was almost settled the last debit order account took my capital balance to negative (and the settlement letter also reflected a negative amount). I phoned Wesbank to settle my account and transfer my vehicle and they said everything was in order and they will courier the documents. I then asked about the over payment and was told that there was no over payment. I asked for an explanation of why there were no over payment and received all kinds of explanations (none of them made sense).

I requested a statement so that I can reconcile the amounts. I received a statement --- the quality of information on it is shocking. It shows actual amounts which affect the balance as well as a lot of extra lines which has no effect on the balance. But they are all just described as debit and credit with no way to know which lines affect the balance and which not! I have no way to reconcile!

I would please like a statement which clearly shows what is happening on my account and what I am being charged for and I would please like to reconcile why Wesbank insist there is no over payment on my account.
