I had a hub account many years ago. Account went into legal and I was paying monies to St Johns Attorneys every month for which I have a statement. They went AWOL and I was summonsed by Strauss Daly for an amount of R10 000, to which I contacted them, sent the statement from St Johns, Noleen Naidoo from Strauss Daly assisted me in getting hold of Chantal. After days of discussions I was dealing with Chantal Damon from The Hub who in turn assisted me in getting a final balance to settle this account because I wanted to clear it up and get my ITC updated. I paid the final balance as per statement received from The Hub which was R578.44 and I paid this amount in full. Did another ITC this year only to see The Hub still on there with a balance of R10k. I have had no feedback and now I am told that there is still a balance?? Please explain how this is possible? I have a balance statement from The Hub which was sent to me, as well as my email requesting the final balance in order to settle. I suggest the legal check their records property and close this matter off asap. I have also referred this to the Credit Ombud and I have attached all correspondence. Still waiting for their call!
